Fall...its here

Fall and winter are by far my favorite seasons.  I love to layer and bundle up!  Unfortunately living in southern California doesn't give me a whole lot of cold weather to work with, so I do what I can.  I am so in love with these Zara Faux Leather Bermuda shorts and find myself wearing them multiple times a week.  I can definitely carry these over to the colder months with tights and or long socks.

Its a Zoo Out There

This past weekend my boyfriend and I made way our down to San Diego for a quick trip to visit his family from Arizona.  We stayed in the Point Loma area which I absolutely fell in love with and wouldn't mind settling down there one day (but my boyfriend says I say that about every place we travel to).  I was afraid the weather was going to be too cold but it ended up being great.  The whole weekend was filled with the typical touristy things to do in San Diego, but we still all had a blast!  We spent time at the beautiful Balboa Park which has gorgeous gardens and stunning architecture (we will for sure be back for a romantic date night here).  On our last day there we went to the World Famous San Diego Zoo.  Growing up in Southern California Ive been there tons of times, but it was a first for my boyfriend and his family.  

Our weekend was great!  Its always nice to get away from reality for any length time.
